Fireatline Sdn Bhd and/or its affiliates (hereinafter known as “FAL”, “we”, or “us”) respect your rights and our obligations regarding your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy is provided to help you understand how we collect, use, share, store, and disclose the information we obtain when you use FAL’s mobile application (hereinafter known as the “SPKA App”) and related services (hereinafter known as the “FAL Service”).
THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND FAL. BY DOWNLOADING AND/OR INSTALLING THE SPKA APP, ACCESSING AND/OR USING THE SPKA APP, AND/OR CREATING AN SPKA ACCOUNT, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY.
This Privacy Policy applies to any person or entity that uses the FAL Service.
FAL may amend any portion of this Privacy Policy at its discretion at any time by posting or displaying the amended Privacy Policy within the SPKA App and/or on the FAL website. You will be deemed to have accepted such amendments by continuing to use the FAL Service. Except as otherwise stated, any such amendments will automatically take effect 30 calendar days after they are initially posted.
1. Information We May Collect
When you use any of the FAL Service, we may collect the following information that you provide to us directly:
Registration Information
We strongly encourage you to create an SPKA Account that enables you to receive customer support services with ease and enjoy various features of the FAL Service. When you create an SPKA Account, we will collect and store any registration information you share with us, such as your email address or password (the “Registration Information”).
Customer Support Correspondence
When you request assistance from our customer support team, we may collect and store your contact information as well as payment information relating to the payment of the FAL Service, to the extent reasonably necessary to provide customer support.
Telephone Number / Technical and Usage Information Collected Through Automated Means
When you access and/or use the FAL Service, we may collect:
a) your telephone number
b) technical information about your fire alarm setup, including brand and technical configuration details; and
c) usage statistics about your interactions with the FAL Service.
Such information and usage data may be collected through the use of server log files and/or tracking technologies.
We may use cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons on certain services to analyse your use of our services and to customise and improve our services. You are always free to decline cookies if your browser or device permits, although doing so may interfere with your use of some of our services. Please note that certain features of our services may not be available if cookies are declined.
2. How We Use the Information We Collect
FAL may use the information we collect through your use of the FAL Service to provide enhanced services and promotional information regarding SPKA.
For example, we may use the information we collect in the following ways:
· Creating and managing your SPKA Account;
· Informing you of updates regarding the FAL Service and updates to the FAL policies;
· Providing customer support and responding to user enquiries;
· Fulfilling your requests and/or orders for SPKA and meeting our obligations under the FAL policies;
· Soliciting your input and feedback to improve user experience;
· Monitoring the technical functioning of the FAL Service;
· Analysing user traffic;
· Troubleshooting errors or issues with any part of the FAL Service; and
· Complying with applicable laws, regulations, or administrative orders.
3. Sharing of Your Information
We may share your information with certain third parties under the following circumstances:
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, including but not limited to data analysis and customer service. Such third-party companies may access your personal information but are required to use it solely as directed by us for the purpose of performing the requested services.
Safety, Security, and Compliance with Law
We may disclose your information to certain third parties if we reasonably believe that:
a) we are required to disclose the information in response to legal process (such as a court order, search warrant, or subpoena);
b) disclosure is required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or administrative orders;
c) there is an emergency that poses a threat to the safety of you, another person, or the general public; or
d) such disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights or property of FAL.
Sale or Merger
In the event that FAL undergoes a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a substantial portion of its assets, we may transfer the information you have provided, including personal information, to the successor organisation as part of that transition.
If material changes to FAL’s privacy practices occur as a result of the business transition, we will notify you of the transition prior to transferring your personal information.
4. Security of Your Information
FAL takes commercially reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorised access to, or unauthorised alteration, disclosure, or destruction of the sensitive data that you share and that we collect and store.
Despite our efforts to enhance the security of the FAL Service, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur.
We strongly encourage you not to share your account password with any third parties for any reason.

4.1 Right to deletion
You may request that we delete the personal data we have collected about you within the past 12 months.
We fully recognise your right to deletion. However, please note that in some cases we may be required to retain your personal data for a certain period of time. For example, we may need to retain your data to:
· provide services to you;
· detect or resolve security or functionality-related issues;
· comply with legal obligations;
· conduct research in the public interest; or
· carry out internal processes that you might reasonably expect.
If none of these obligations apply, we will delete your personal information upon request.
4.2 Data Deletion Request
You may request that FAL erase your personal data without undue delay when it is no longer necessary for FAL to retain such data.
